The protector course is an intensely experiential 10-day program designed to teach you to how to guide a Vision Quest program for others. It goes far beyond this, though, and trains you in protection that can help in all facets of your life, regardless of whether you ever actually guide a Vision Quest program.
The program is intense and is difficult to fully define in a few short paragraphs. It covers areas such as methods of protection, discerning areas of light and dark energies, personal shielding and area shielding, and the challenges that may occur. Learning what these challenges can entail and how to turn them into visionary experiences will assist you on your own quests for manifesting your Vision.
In addition, you will learn the logistics of organizing, guiding, and protecting a Vision Quest program for others. This includes how to guide and assist others in seeking their Vision providing a safe environment without interfering in any way.
You will undertake the Second Level of Quest, and practice physical and spiritual protection. In addition we offer feedback and guidance so that you can more easily know where your protection needs more emphasis. We also offer feedback on potential areas to work on to be a more effective protector.
You will be given a comprehensive Vision Quest Protector Manual, developed by Malcolm Ringwalt who co-developed this program thirty years ago. Once you become a trained protector, you may join the Hearts of Fire Protector Community.
Prerequisites: There is a prerequisite that you complete at least one four-day Vision Quest in the tradition of Grandfather Stalking Wolf. In addition, should you feel the calling in your heart to guide Vision Quest programs, it is necessary for you to undergo the Vision Quest a number of times so you guide others from the wisdom gained through experience, rather than from a more intellectual understanding. It is also strongly recommended that you assist during a couple of Vision Quest programs run by another protector trained in this tradition. These prerequisites are crucial in becoming a powerful protector and guide in this beautiful and simple tradition as handed down by Grandfather Stalking Wolf and Tom Brown, Jr.
