Elizabeth Moes

Elizabeth Moes

Due to visionary experiences as a child, Elizabeth knew there was much more to life than was apparent in the physical world. This knowing created a yearning to search for deeper meanings in life. It led to her studying with various teachers and mentors throughout the world. She has undertaken numerous Vision Quests in an intense desire to transform her life and be deeply of service, helping others to transform their lives and live in alignment of who they truly are, beyond the trappings of what they were told they “should” be.

It is because of her first Vision Quest that she was led to study with Tom Brown, Jr., in 1992. She undertook the first Protector Training Program  in 1993 with Karl Povisils of Quest Earth Philosophy who was assisted by Malcolm Ringwalt and Chuck Goewey. Continuing her studies with Tom Brown, Jr., she focused her attention on helping others to delve deeply into the living more authentically. This led to assisting at numerous Tracker School courses and eventually to creating her own programs. In addition, she now offers one-on-one spiritual counseling services, helping people to break free of the ties that bind. It is in the freedom resulting from breaking free of these ties which allow us to transform our lives, live authentically, live intentionally, and bring the needed changes to our own lives and the lives of those around us. Elizabeth has been an elder at the Tracker School since 2008. The Tracker School was founded by Tom Brown, Jr., in 1978.

Since 1995, Elizabeth created and and has continuously published The Razor’s Edge, a newsletter for people who have taken any Tracker School classes. Elizabeth has also trained in Natural Bioenergetics and has been helping people through this modality since 2007. She has been trained by and worked extensively with Dr. Jimmy Scott, the founder of this healing modality. All of this has been done while raising two very spirited and awakened children, both of whom are now adults walking their own visionary paths.

Bill Moes

Bill in Tracker t-shirtIn his early twenties, Bill Moes began searching for more in life. His search took him briefly to study yoga and transcendental meditation. In 1987, as he was perusing a local book store, he came across Tom Brown’s Field Guide to Wilderness Survival. This book started a chain reaction which changed the course of his life. Since 1987, he has extensively studied the realms of both the wilderness and spirit with the Tracker School, taught directly by Tom Brown, Jr. Bill also studied with Karl “Bear” Povisils of Quest Earth Philosophy and completed the Protector Training Program in 1993. Subsequently he went on to earn an undergraduate degree in Native Studies and a master’s degree in Environmental Studies focusing on the Vision Quest. Later, he pursued a master’s degree in Sustainability Studies. He currently is a teacher in the Indigenous Studies program at Trent University.

Bill has an unquenchable thirst to understand deeply into any issue, discern what the root cause is, and subsequently determine ways to overcome it. He brings his laser-like focus to any task he undertakes, intensely going deeply into the heart of the matter, and with alacrity and insight untangle the ties that bind. Often it can be difficult to get to the underpinnings of a situation that we are immersed in. Sometimes this is  because we don’t want to face the deeper difficulty. Other times it may be because, quite simply as one client put it, it seems like it’s just who we are. Bill is able to hone in and ask the deep questions that get beyond the illusions that we hold about ourselves to a deeper, more realistic assessment of ourselves, the situation we find ourselves in, and the steps needed to either heal it or empower it, depending on the need.

A natural born teacher, Bill is able to help guide others to a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them. He is able to help clarify what is needed to progress on both the spiritual path and the healing path that many people seek in order to transform into something that is both greater than we perceive and at the same time closer to who we truly are.
