Landscape in Alberta, Canada“The depth of integrity and experience in Elizabeth’s and Bill’s craft is self-evident.”

“In August 2019 I participated in the Vision Quest Protector Training course with Elizabeth and Bill Moes. I’ve known the Moes’ for decades and knew in my heart that this was the time for me to get off my @$$ and take the training. The depth of integrity and experience in their craft is self-evident. Each has their own medicine, perspective, and skillset, all which flowed together seamlessly and effectively during this 10-day journey. Protector training is not intended as a theoretical ‘class’ but rather an immersion into the preparation, support, and commitment involved in running a Quest in the tradition of Stalking Wolf, Apache visionary, teacher and scout.

“I was one of four trainees whose role it was, not only to learn the inner workings of the Quest but also to support and assist with the myriad details involved with facilitating a ceremony of this scale. This particular Quest was held on a new piece of land and with a relatively large group of participants. These factors presented their own challenges. The terrain was rugged and beautiful and we all embraced the physical, energetic and spiritual work with passion and purpose. However, the opportunity for personal growth and the clarification of one’s own Vision before, during and after this training cannot be overstated.

“Thanks to Elizabeth and Bill for their efforts, to the Questers for their commitment, to the landowners who hosted the Quest and to my fellow trainees, whose inner and outer strength and beauty was an inspiration to us all. There is a part of me that longs to do it all over again.

“In gratitude to all for this opportunity.” Michael Ridolfo
