The Vision Quest is a powerful experience, bringing us to the center of who we are and the unique gifts we can bring to the world. It is a time-honored ceremony connecting us deeply to the Creator and the Earth. Coming together while undertaking the Vision Quest is a very synergistic and impactful way to make a difference in our lives and in the world at a time when change, and people of Vision, are very needed.
The Quest is four days and four nights alone in nature, leaving behind all distractions so we can focus deeply on our journey. This Vision Quest is set up in the tradition passed down by Grandfather Stalking Wolf through Tom Brown, Jr. It will be preceded by preparation and guidance, and followed by a time of reintegration and reflection. You do not need previous experience with the Vision Quest to participate, just a longing of your heart to embark on this remarkable journey.
During the Vision Quest there is a gentle deepening of ourselves and an opening to the Creator and Mother Earth. As we let go of all distractions, time, destinations, and expectations, and open to our experience, it becomes obvious what our true heart is longing for. With our “normal” lives, there is so much distraction that it can be very difficult to discern who we are and what our next steps are on our journey. What is important to us at the deepest level. What our unique gifts are that only we can give to our lives and the lives of our loved ones. We have all grown up with so many “shoulds” imposed on us by others and which we internalized as truth. The Vision Quest assists you in seeing those shoulds for what they really are; impediments which keep us from being who we truly are. And it assists in letting go of those shoulds by either putting them to rest during the Vision Quest itself or by guiding you on the steps to take to release these blocks that keep us tied up in a more physical, less spiritual and visionary way of being. The Vision Quest also quickens our healing process and offers both healing on the quest itself as well as showing us the next steps to take on our healing journey and on our visionary journey. Often these things are unexpected. The Vision Quest also answers the needful questions that we have in our lives. Assistance from the unseen and eternal is readily available on a Vision Quest. After all, you are doing your part by answering the call to go on a Vision Quest and live the most authentic way possible. The Creator, creation, and the spirit world are drawn to such intense seeking and do whatever is possible to assist you.
We have found the Vision Quest to be an incredible accelerant on our paths, guiding us deeply to who we truly are. Life is short. The Vision Quest affords the ability to get to the heart of your life in a mere four days.
